My Process
When approaching a new project, I make sure to...
- * Start by talking to client to get a full idea of the project at hand.
- * Asking what a user would expect to see for a project like this.
- - Which expectations do we need to adhere to?
- - Which expectations can we have fun subverting?
- * Building a wireframe
- - Find out how the client and I want the app to look.
- - See if our design can inspires changes to the original plan or new features
- * Choosing the best suited language / framework / stack for this project as it is now defiined.
- * Setting clear, realistic goalposts for completing the project based on the timeline that the client has set. I may also bring on other team members who have the skills to help me complete the project at a professional level by the client's due date.
About Me
I am the daughter of two immigrants who taught me to work hard for what you want. When I was a child, my parents made sure to always have the latest full set of Encyclopedias and Dictionaries. If we ever had a question, we were told to "Look it up!"
This is how I learned to not only enjoy asking questions, but also to enjoy the search for answers. I have always loved the results of hard work. The knowledge that I can make a decision to complete a goal, do some research on how to do it right, and implement that information to end up with an amazing product that I made all by myself is a life affirming process.
